2022
9 lbs. 6” tall x 6” wide
Acrylic paint and ink on stone.
Found at Goose Spit in Comox, Vancouver Island
This stone was found at Goose Spit in Comox. It was shaped over a seemingly endless period of time by the ebb and flow of the tide, at times rough and tumbling, at others, gentle and lapping. The stone is now like a marker of this spot that we are so fortunate to be able to return to; both a physical location and an intangible one within, a place where we too can be formed slowly over time, sometimes gently, sometimes not.
It was donated to Waterways: The Comox Valley Gallery Hop.
